Last Friday i did another stupid runaway project and went to these place after the calming down session :)
Tanjung Aru Beach 1 : the beach was dirtier. there was one restaurant there that was closed. forgot the name :( our stay there wasn't for long. only had guavas, which was totally bad, and sweet pickled mangoes which was satisfying. i was depressed cuz the drink that i was really carving was so bad cuz they mixed sugar syruo together with it and the flavor of the drink was almost nothing. i was carving for "air tebu" actually :) even the stay wasn't so long, i was glad coming to the beach to calm down the storms.
Philipines Night Market : The second destination. I bought a fish that coast me 12.00MYR. i was watching the man slicing up the fishes with REALLY sharp chopper. There was one boy asking if i would like to buy his plastic bag and I said no. But he insisted coz the bag coast only 20cent. before i could ask my man said no. i was pity for the boy. after the fishopping, we went for a late supper also at the same location and had a medium sized fish and prawns and greeny slimy looking "thing" which my man called it "lato". the first time tasting this "lato",when u bite it, u could feel gel like liquid popping from the fruit and into your mouth. It doesnt taste so horrible but it's just not the stuff i would prefer having in my mouth. late supper coast us 26MYR which was coasty for a place like that. I prefer going to Salut maybe next time.
the third destination was somewhere in 1Borneo where i think is not really a good place to ang out. the beverage they serve was AWFUL. for 6.ooMYR is cheap but the quality of drink wasn't really good. flat and tasteless! even the free drinks they served was so nasty! it wasn't chilled, and the orange was like expired. like they pured it earlier in the bar and wait for ladies to come and just serve the drink. it was maybe a bit good if they left it inside the chiller but....so well, overall the place sucks and that will be my first and last hanging out there.
